Work & Play started with an apron whose pockets were decorative and a pair of shin guards that ended every match around the ankle.

The range is small and built around movement: a cross-back apron with deep pockets and a towel loop, drawstring shorts cut wide through the leg for warm kitchens and long days, and shin guards with a shaped shell and two straps.

Fit is the part most workwear gets wrong, so every listing gives the measurements that matter. Apron width and length, short inseam and waist range, and the strap span of the guards are all stated in inches.

The fabrics are chosen for a hot wash at the end of the day, and each listing says how hot and whether the dryer is allowed.

Orders placed before the daily cut-off leave the next working day, and one national carrier handles every parcel.
